Overview


This challenge helps participants enjoy a healthy, well-rounded diet by following basic nutrition principles from the World Health Organization.

To start, participants will learn about important ways to make nutritious choices and build healthy eating habits. Creative and nutritious recipes from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics will also be provided to inspire healthy cooking at home! During the challenge, participants will earn Wellable Points for engaging in daily healthy eating habits and submitting a photo of a nutritious dish they prepared and enjoyed!

Recommended Reward Structure

For each Healthy Eating Habit a participant practices, they will be entered into a raffle to win a reward. A bonus raffle will award two participants that submit a Healthy Recipe Photo during the challenge. Grand prizes will also be awarded at the end of the challenge to three participants using a Wellable Points-based raffle where each Wellable Point earned equals one entry into the raffle.

The raffle structure helps stretch a rewards budget for maximum impact by encouraging participation throughout the challenge, as the odds of winning a prize increases with the more Healthy Eating Habits a participant practices and with the more Wellable Points a participant earns.

Wellable Points can be earned by tracking distance traveled from walking and running through one of Wellable's partner apps or by manually logging these activities in a Wellable User Account.

Wellable Points can be earned by tracking other fitness activities, such as yoga, aerobics, and weightlifting, through one of Wellable's partner apps or by manually these logging activities in a Wellable User Account.

At the beginning of the challenge, participants receive educational content about basic nutrition principles from the World Health Organization and how they can be practiced to create lasting, healthy habits. They will then be encouraged to engage in four different Healthy Eating Habits throughout the challenge. After engaging in a Healthy Eating Habit, participants will log the activity to earn Wellable Points. Each Healthy Eating Habit can be logged once per day during the challenge. The four Healthy Eating Habits are:

  • Ate 5 Portions Of Fruits And Vegetables
  • Lowered Saturated And Trans-Fat Intake
  • Limited Salt Intake
  • Reduced Sugar Intake

At the beginning of the challenge, participants receive 50 creative and healthy recipes from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Whether it is one of the recipes provided by Wellable or something they create on their own, participants will then be encouraged to prepare a nutritious meal or snack once during the challenge and send a picture of their dish to Wellable Support. After submitting the photo, participants will receive a Verification Code to log the completion of this activity to earn Wellable Points.
